Mr. Mark Hoda’s interest in automobiles began at an early age while watching his dad and uncles build and race cars.  He took an Auto Mechanics program in high school, then continued to MGCCC where he completed the Automotive Technology program under the instruction of Mr. Greg Cooper.  Mr. Hoda earned his ASE Master Technician certification in 2006, and his GM Master Certified Technician in 2021.  He worked his way up from oil changes to shop foreman and has owned his own performance and automotive business since 2024.

Mr. Hoda joined the Career Tech Center in 2026 and enjoys teaching Auto Tech because the auto industry has been good to him and provided a good living for his family.  He wants his students to have a sense of accomplishment and to think outside of the box in life.
